University City District: Youcie

In an effort to reach out to the more than 45,000 young people in University City, University City District has created youcie, a young friends group.

Youcie members are diverse individuals who are committed to University City’s uniqueness, growth and vitality. Youcie events allow members to connect, interact with and explore University City’s diverse cultural, social, and community service offerings. The programming is a mix of sophisticated contemporary cultural and recreational events driven by the energy and uniqueness of University City. Members enjoy happy hours, special invitations to openings, previews and screenings, and other social and community events.

Membership is free and open to those 21 years and older who wish to engage in exciting programming with other like-minded students and professionals.

To RSVP for any of the events, email youcie@ucityphila.org. Be sure to include the names of any guests you are planning to bring. If the event is a happy hour event (marked with an asterisk) your first drink is free if you RSVP! All happy hour events are 21 and older.
